Margaret is a native Houstonian and a graduate of St. Agnes Academy. She earned a degree in marketing from Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She received her MBA in finance from the University of Houston.

Margaret is active in her community by supporting area schools such as St. Vincent de Paul, Mark Twain, West U Elementary, Pershing, St. Marks and others. She is Vice Chair - Board of Trustees for the Council on Recovery and has been the Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday since 2014. Margaret also hosts quarterly Neighborhood Women Small Business Networking events.

In her free time, Margaret loves family time with her husband and two children, scuba diving trips, Mahjong, reading, jigsaw puzzles, pilates and pickleball.
