Danielle graduated from American University in Washington D.C., where she studied international business and communications (journalism). She remains actively involved with her alma mater, particularly with the School of Communication, the Kogod Business School Alumni Association, and their new real estate master's program.
Outside of her professional life, Danielle is an avid equestrian, often spending time between Middleburg, Virginia, and Easton, Maryland. She is a connoisseur of classical music, a contemporary art collector, and a passionate traveler. Fluent in English, French, Italian, and with an understanding of German, she believes travel is key to growth and cultural understanding.
In 2007, Danielle was knighted as a Dame of the Order of Malta and participated in the Order's annual pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. Since 2016, she has been involved with ATVRT (Alliance to Rescue Victims of Trafficking), a Washington D.C.-based organization that raises awareness and advocates for victims of human trafficking.
