Aly and her husband, Richie, chose to return home to St. Simons Island so they could spend more time together as a family. Shortly after moving back, their family grew in a big way with the arrival of twins, joining their two toddlers at the time. With four little ones now in tow, the Cravens enjoy the island’s bike paths, community, and the beauty of the marshes, which remind Aly of the wide-open plains she cherished while visiting her father’s home state of Oklahoma. For her, the marshes carry that same sense of stillness and calm that makes the Golden Isles such a special place to call home.
