Claire Evans grew up in Garner, NC. She attended Chowan College, where she met her husband Matt, a Chowan County native. Claire and Matt married and settled in Matt’s hometown where Claire began a career with Vidant Chowan Hospital. She spent more than ten years serving the outpatient healthcare needs of our community. Claire’s passion for interior design and architecture coupled with a love for people and her adopted hometown made her a prime target for a bite from the real estate bug.
Claire and Matt have 2 children. She is an active member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church and serves as a leader for the Chowan County 4H Program, is an Edenton Steamers host family, and a volunteer for both the Edenton Chowan Food Pantry and Edenton Chowan Public Schools. She enjoys impromptu dinner parties, boat rides, and packing suitcases for her family (as it means they’re traveling!).
