Nya Alemayhu

Nya Alemayhu is a dedicated real estate advisor proudly serving communities throughout the DMV. As an Ethiopian-American fluent in Amharic, Nya brings cultural insight, clear communication, and a deeply relational approach to every client interaction. She believes that successful real estate transactions start with truly listening—understanding each client’s unique goals, values, and lifestyle needs.

Before real estate, Nya spent over 10 years in luxury retail, where she led teams, launched stores for top national brands, and mastered the art of personalized service. That same client-centered mindset guides her approach today—whether advising first-time buyers, foreign national buyers, negotiating on behalf of sellers, or helping investors navigate the market with confidence. She’s known for her integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to making the buying and selling process seamless and rewarding.

Nya also works on a global scale. She is part of the leadership team behind KEFITA, a high-end residential project redefining luxury living in Addis Ababa for the Ethiopian Diaspora.

When she's not advocating for her clients, you’ll find Nya exploring the DMV’s vibrant food and cultural scene, traveling—most recently to France and Ethiopia—or walking Maxie and Milo, her two Maltese dogs. She lives in Washington, DC’s Kalorama neighborhood and loves staying plugged into all that makes the DC metro area dynamic and inspiring.
