"My goal is to learn at least one new thing every day," says Realtor Wei Wu, a member of Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty Circle of Excellence. Wei listens carefully to her clients in order to understand their needs. She is patient with her buyers, understanding that it often takes time to find the right home. 'We have fun finding their dream home together,' says Wei.
Prior to her successful career in residential real estate, Wei was a registered dietitian at St. Luke's and Texas Children's Hospitals. She taught Chinese cooking at Neiman Marcus Galleria and owned a travel agency. She earned her real estate sales license in 2000.
Wei obtained a Master of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband are long-time Houston residents since 1984. When not working, Wei volunteered for Houston Arboretum, Houston Botanic Garden, Houston Open, Enlightment Educational Program and her grandchildren's schools.
Wei's greatest pleasure is visiting her five grandchildren in Colorado. 'They call me flying maid,' Wei laughs, 'as we fly there as often as we can.'
