Mike Vogel's journey to becoming a real estate agent was a natural progression from his prior career in sales and customer service, spanning 15 years of selling software to human resources and payroll companies. Simultaneously, he dabbled in real estate transactions on the side. Leveraging his expertise in sales and customer service, he transitioned into real estate, initially selling condos at a local brokerage before finding his ideal fit at Scenic Sotheby's International Realty. Here, he established his own team, The Vogel Group, which now includes his wife, Sarah. Originally from central Florida, Mike's ties to the Emerald Coast trace back to his family's first beach house purchase in Blue Mountain Beach. After a stint in Texas, Mike, Sarah, and their children, Andrew and Norah, decided to settle permanently in the Emerald Coast. Mike's passion for real estate stems from the flexibility it offers and his desire to assist clients in finding their dream properties based on their investment goals. He prides himself on being a attentive listener, well-versed in local communities, and utilizes these traits to benefit his clients. In his leisure time, Mike enjoys golf, paddle boarding, surfing, and supporting his children's sports endeavors, as well as indulging in literature from favorite authors and influential figures.
Sarah Vogel, with her real estate license obtained in 2020, seamlessly integrated into the real estate realm alongside her husband, Mike, at Scenic Sotheby's International Realty. Prior to this, the couple had collaborated in their own direct sales business. Since their relocation to the beach in 2004, Sarah, originally from Anchorage, Alaska, has acquired licenses in cosmetology and certifications in nutrition through Precision Nutrition. The move to the Emerald Coast brought them closer to family and opened doors to new career opportunities in real estate. Sarah's passion lies in working with people, a trait she exemplifies in her role, primarily managing administrative tasks for Mike's team. Empathetic and dedicated to helping others achieve their objectives, Sarah actively supports her children's sports activities, including volleyball and track and field. She also finds solace in fitness routines and unwinding with a glass of wine while watching the sunset at the beach. Alongside Mike, Sarah calls WaterSound Origins home and actively participates in the WaterSound Beach Club community.
