Born in Switzerland and raised in Italy, Marzia was a sales export manager for a woodworking machine manufacturer in Italy, overseeing accounts in Europe, Asia, South Africa and the United States. While attending a trade show in New York City in 2000, Marzia met her husband and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Five years later, her husband's job brought them to the Charlotte/Lake Norman region, which reminds her of the sea back home in Italy.
Drawing from her international background, Marzia takes a different approach to conducting business. She loves to think outside of the box and is very creative. Her sales experience has aided her in developing a unique approach to marketing homes. Even at her busiest, Marzia works hard to ensure that each of her customers feels that they are her priority, serving them with knowledge and a passion that makes the process seamless and enjoyable.
Marzia is a Certified Relocation Professional. Italian is her native language, but she is also fluent in Spanish and German, making her an excellent choice in assisting those customers considering international relocation to the Lake Norman area.
Outside of the office, Marzia is a wakeboarder and wakesurfer. During the warm season, she and her family enjoy going out on their boat almost every day. A community volunteer, Marzia helps with the program at Continuing the Mission, a nonprofit organization that provides fully trained assistance dogs at no cost to veterans in North Carolina. She is also an advocate for Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, a nonprofit that provides services and employment opportunities for the disabled and donates a portion of her commissions to the organization.
Marzia's proudest accomplishment of all is her two wonderful children. Stefania is now a sophomore at Davidson College, where she continues to excel both academically and as a Division I track and field athlete. Christopher (Kiko) is a Duke University alumnus with a major in chemistry and minors in biology and economics, now attending his first year at Tulane University School of Medicine.
