Kelly Basheer Garrett

Kelly Basheer Garrett is a lifelong Washingtonian and award winning REALTOR® in the Metro DC area. Kelly is a Senior Vice President at TTR Sotheby's International Realty and holds licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She is a Certified Relocation Consultant who enjoys working with clients in all phases of their home transitions. Immersed in the building industry during her childhood, this inspired her interest in real estate and has afforded her valuable insight. After attending Langley High School in McLean, Kelly went on to earn a B.A. in Urban Planning from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate from American University. She began her career in commercial real estate finance. She then worked for a family-owned software development company for 28 years before entering residential brokerage in 2008. Kelly understands that real estate decisions are one of the most important financial decisions her clients will make. She strives to go the extra mile to see her clients' needs met with total satisfaction. Kelly enjoys applying her superior knowledge to help her clients achieve their goals—whether buying, selling, or renting, just starting out, upsizing or downsizing, moving into or out of the DMV. Kelly's clients appreciate that she is an astute, genuinely caring professional who enjoys connecting with people. Kelly has lived all over the DMV and has developed an intimate market knowledge as a result. She grew up in Arlington and McLean, VA, as an adult, moved to her first home in Kalorama, DC, spent a decade in Chevy Chase, DC, and has lived in Chevy Chase, MD for the past two decades. She is married with three children she proudly raised in the local area. Her son graduated from the Landon School and went on to graduate from Hamilton College. Her daughters graduated from the National Cathedral School and one went one to graduate from University of California, Berkeley and the other is a freshman at Vanderbilt University. Kelly enjoyed watching their various sports including ice hockey, lacrosse, tennis, soccer and football and living vicariously through their athletic achievements including their collegiate lacrosse careers. When not busy working and supporting a variety of local organizations, Kelly can be found walking about town with her Samoyed Hamilton!
