Tracey Smith

Tracey Smith brings creativity, passion and a love for client relationships to her career as a real estate sales associate at Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty. A genuine excitement for luxury residential real estate drives Tracey to consistently research Houston’s market trends. While Tracey focuses on traditional inner-loop and close-in neighborhoods with her clients, she also forges relationships with builders and developers working on new construction projects in desirable neighborhoods all over Houston.

In late 2016, just eight short months into Tracey’s career as a real estate agent, she had already closed $12 million in transactions. This accomplishment earned her the status of a top producer, and she received the 2016 Shoot for the Stars Award at her previous brokerage.

Prior to pursuing real estate, Tracey spent 18 years in the luxury hotel business representing The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida and the Cloister Hotel in Sea Island, Georgia. Her role involved placing corporate executives in elegant accommodations for board meetings and conferences. Tracey’s customer-centered approach earned her many repeat clients and accolades for her tenacious and confident manner. She applies that same focus, positive attitude and determination as a Realtor. Her ethos comes from her father who told her if she wanted to be a success to “put on your blinders and run your own race.”

Though Tracey has been a resident of Texas for 25 years, she maintains her strong Midwestern values of honesty, patience and trustworthiness from her childhood in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tracey came to Texas to study at Southern Methodist University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in art history. While in college, she fell in love with Texas and its culture and made the state her permanent home.

When she is not working, Tracey enjoys traveling, running marathons, playing tennis and golfing.
