Amanda Duffey

Amanda has been a resident of St. Simons Island since 2005, but her ties to the area go back to the early 1980s when she started vacationing in Sea Island and the surrounding Golden Isles. After graduating from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2005, she launched her career in the mortgage industry with Capital City Mortgage in St. Simons Island. Later, she became a lending officer with Washington Mutual, where she gained valuable insights into buyers' challenges in the home-buying process.


As a real estate agent, Amanda is known for her strong relationships with her clients, which she views as crucial to understanding their needs fully. Her goal is to surpass the expectations of all her clients in every transaction. She prides herself on her extensive knowledge of the local market, her accessibility to clients, and her commitment to safeguarding clients' interests throughout smooth real estate transactions. Amanda's most notable experiences in real estate include her appearances in two episodes of HGTV.


Amanda deeply understands the building process on St. Simons Island, thanks to her partnership with Scott Cochran, a builder with over 20+ years of experience on the island. Amanda is a proud mother of three daughters, Payton, Kendall, and Catherine, and two dogs, a black lab named Heston and a rescued dog named Peri. She is an active volunteer at her daughters' school, Frederica Academy, where she has helped with fundraising for several years and is involved with the 'Good News Club.' Amanda is engaged with Wine Women & Shoes, St. Simons Island Moms Club, the Ladies Island Bible Study, and various committees for the Golden Isles Association of Realtors. Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends in her free time, cooking, playing tennis, scuba diving, exercising, and meeting new people.
